About Pachyrhinosaurus

Pachyrhinosaurus was a large herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous Period approximately 70 million years ago. Unlike Triceratops, Pachyrhinosaurus lacked large brow horns and instead possessed a thick, bony nasal boss that may have been used for display, defense, or species recognition. It lived in herds and is one of the best-known horned dinosaurs from the northern regions of prehistoric North America.
